This species is from Bur Heybe, a town in southern Somalia, where it grows on granite. This shrubby Aloe branches from the base, forming numerous stems bearing a rosette of gray-green, spotted leaves with a glossy surface. The inflorescence bears glossy red flowers with green lips. These plants are rooted offsets in 8-inch pots.
