Aloe claviflora 5-inch pots

$20.00

From the western provinces of South Africa that include the Great Karoo, this species is somewhat unusual within the genus. Our seed was collected near Kimberly. The most unusual part are the flowers, which are bright red and held in near-horizontal inflorescences that are distinctively club-shaped, earning the epithet. The plants are relatively slow growing and offsetting with medium rosettes of gray-green succulent leaves. This species is capable of withstanding an unknown amount of low temperature; ours have taken 18F outside with no damage. These plants are seedlings in 5-inch pots.
