From Malawi and southern Tanzania, this species has solitary or sparsely offsetting acaulescent rosettes. The leaves are yellow-green with faint lines and prominent spots. The multibranched inflorescence produces orange-red flowers. These plants are seedlings in 3-gallon pots.
