From the Eastern and Western Cape Provinces of South Africa, this small bulb has beautiful spotted leaves. Cultivar minor is supposed to be the dwarf form of this species. The bulbs offset freely, forming clumps that make this a very attractive pot plant. These rooted offsets are in 4-inch pots.
