This species, from the Arabian Peninsula (TMC 5307) into northeastern Africa, is similar to Caralluma adscendens. The numerous yellow-green stems are slender with flutes and small knobs. The flowers are multicolored with white outer parts to reddish-purple inner parts. These plants are rooted offsets in 5-inch pots.
