Alluaudia montagnacii, from Madagascar, is probably the rarest of the Alluaudias in cultivation and typically is grown from cuttings. This plant forms a tree 40-50 feet tall in habitat. Highly regarded because of the incredible spination, this species makes a great addition to any succulent collection. These plants are rooted cuttings in 2-gallon pots.
