This tree Euphorbia is from central Madagascar, where it grows in a wide range of habitats ranging from alluvial plains to rock faces. It has lanceolate, glossy green leaves from a rather ordinary tree-branch type architecture. A dioecious species, small yellow cyathia are produced at the ends of branch tips. The seed pods look like they belong on an Uncarina, which is why some think this should be in a new genera. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
