Widespread in the uplands on the island of Socotra (Yemen), this species is a low shrub that produces climbing stems. When mature, the stems are H-shaped in cross section and gray-green in color. The leaves are small and inconspicuous, and the flowers are inconsequential. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
