From Namaqualand in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, this species is a shrub that grows in a winter rainfall area. The stems are quite succulent and produce gray- to blue-green oblanceolate leaves. The flowers are greenish white with numerous ray flowers. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
