Supposedly Horst Pfennig was having trouble pollinating two Sansevieria pinguiculas, so he just looked around and found S. phillipsiae blooming and crossed the two species. The result is a spiky, upright plant with stiff blue-green leaves. These plants are rooted offsets in 2-gallon pots.
