From southwestern Africa – Namibia to Zaire – this species might well be called longifolia since the leaves are quite long. The broad leaves are green with irregular yellow-green bands. The name does adequately describe the inflorescence, which well exceeds those long leaves. These plants are rooted offsets in 2-gallon pots.
