This spiky Sansevieria comes from northeastern Africa, including Eritrea, Ethiopia, and the Sudan. A short-statured species, it grows in relatively dense clusters of upright cylindrical leaves that are light green. The stems are smooth with few if any markings. These plants are rooted offsets in 3-gallon pots.
