Originally collected from near Mbeya in southern Tanzania, this species has mostly dark green leaves. Prominent lighter banding occurs on the partially guttered and cylindrical leaves that are slightly rough to the touch. Sansevieria bella is a much larger species, but this is definitely part of the Sansevieria suffruticosa group. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
