This species is from southern Malawi. Once known as Super Bat, it has a brownish gray color with little variegation and a channel that runs the full length of the leaf. The leaves on these plants are 2-3 feet long. The flowers arise from the roots and are purplish-white. These plants are rooted offsets in 8-inch pots.
