This shrublet is from the Groot Spitzkoppe area of central Namibia (ISI 1778), where it typically grows in rocks. Similar to Tylecodon buchholzianus, and possibly a hybrid of that species, it has little stems that are brittle, and those stems produce light green ovate leaves in little clusters. When larger, the older stems produce shredding back. The flowers are small and upright. These plants are rooted cuttings in 2-inch pots.
