This species occurs on both sides of the Red Sea, on the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula and in the Horn of Africa. It produces gray-green, four-sided stems without noticeable leaves. The flowers are mostly yellow-green with purple spots, and unlike most Carallumas of this type, they have only a slight odor. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
