This species occurs over a broad range from southern Florida through the Caribbean and Mexico and into South America. This tree, which can grow to 90 feet tall, has red peeling bark and pinnate leaves with reddish-green ovate leaflets. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
