From South Africa and Namibia, this Hoodia species is wide ranging and characteristic of the Great Karoo. It grows in areas with at least some summer rainfall. It forms solitary flesh-colored flowers that stink and attract flies for pollination. It is easy to grow and tends to produce considerable seed. We offer seedlings in 3-inch pots.
