Agave peacockii is named for a Mr. Peacock, not the bird, but it is a unique and interesting plant. A large, solitary plant, this species has roughly linear-lancheolate leaves with heavy spination on the margins. It comes from a frost-free part of Mexico near Tehuacan, and its hardiness is unknown. These plants are seedlings in one-gallon pots.
