Oeceoclades maculata, known as the monk orchid or African spotted orchid, is a terrestrial orchid native to tropical, equitorial Africa. It is naturalized in South and Central America, the Caribbean, and Florida, where it is considered an invasive species. It has leathery green leaves with whitish streaks. The flowers are mostly browh and white with pinkish-red highlights. These plants are rooted offsets in 5-inch pots.
