This variegate is of a species that occurs in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. We believe this previously was sold as a variegate of E. mammillaris, but it is not as robust as that species. These plants, like the typical E. fimbriata, has clustered spiny tubercles on the stems, creating a collared appearance. This variegate is blue-grey in color, and extremely pretty. These are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
