From northeastern Mexico, this species is the largest of the Hesperaloe species. The stiff, nearly linear and guttered leaves are light green with a shredding margin, and mature plants have leaves 3-5 feet long. The flower panicle can reach 20 feet in height and produces large white flowers. This species was undamaged at 18F. These plants are seedlings in one-gallon pots.
