This small solitary species is from a very small area of Tamaulipas, Mexico. These globose plants have a light green body with numerous tubercles. The aureoles have one upward curving central spine and numerous white whisker-like spines. The flowers are yellow to white. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
