Once considered a form, or even a hybrid, of Agave victoria-reginae, this slow-growing species is from Coahuila, Mexico, and differs from A. victoria-reginae in its dark terminal spine and its flowers. This is an extremely hardy species known to withstand temperatures as low as 0 F or lower and easily grows in hot temperatures. These plants are seedlings in one-gallon pots.
