From material collected at Hayward Creek in western Australia, this desert-dwelling Hoya looks as if it has pure-white leaves, in part because of dense hairs on the margin. Unlike other Hoyas, including other subspecies of H. australis, this species does not climb but hangs quite well. It has the rather standard umbel for a Hoya. These plants are rooted cuttings in 8-inch pots.
