This well-known night-blooming cereus from southern Arizona has small, inconspicuous 4-5 angled stems arising from a large subterranean tuber. These plants naturally grow under shrubs, particularly creosote bush but also palo verde trees, and are frost tolerant in Tucson. Our offerings are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
