This species ranges from east central Africa, and some call it Ficus natalensis ssp leprieurii. This medium-sized tree produces a whitish gray trunk that can become with time. The leaves have an irregular margin and are heavily veined. The leaves, when young, tend to be obovate, not triangular. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
