Widely distributed in southeastern Africa, ranging up to East Africa, these plants come from material collected in South Africa. This species becomes a massive tree with time, producing a fluted, gray trunk with some air roots. The leaves are simple, lanceolate, and heavily veined. These plants are seedlings in one-gallon pots.
