Ficus lutea one-gallon pots

$25.00

This large tree grows in coastal areas of eastern South Africa, extending northwards through Mozambique and into Zimbabwe, Malawi, and the Congo. The large, green leaves have yellow venation, which may or may not explain the name. The trunk is massive with aerial roots, which could make this an interesting subject as a rock fig, although this is a strangler fig, usually starting its life as an epiphyte. This plant can take salt spray, reflecting at least some hardiness, although it is unlikely to take much if any frost. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
