Like the name says, this is a small species of Haworthia that also is slow growing. It occurs in the Western Cape Province of South Africa in a winter-rainfall area, but this does not seem to affect its survival in the hot and summer-rainfall Tucson. Variety poellnitziana has longer, more slender leaves than the typical species. These plants are seedlings in 3-inch pots.
