This beautiful clustering aloe, rarely offered, is from a wide area of East Africa. The glossy green leaves have large white markings reminiscent of the A. somaliensis group, but this species grows further south in Africa and is much larger. It also has a resemblance to A. parvidens. The flowers held in tall panicles and are pale red. These plants are seedlings in 2-gallon pots.
