From northeastern Mexico, this is the well-known “Blue Yucca” that is common in landscaping in the southwestern United States. It forms a medium-sized tree. This species can withstand freezing temperatures less than 10F but requires temperatures to rise above freezing for survival. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
