We crossed Adenium arabicum with Adenium somalense var. crispum to create the cultivar Karla, which is named after our late loyal German shepherd. This cross is an attempt to merge the beautiful patterning of the crispum flower with the large base on the arabicum ad the back crossed to somalense crispum to try and gain that flower characteristic. These plants are seedlings in 3-inch pots.
