This is probably an undescribed species from near Morogoro, Tanzania (ES 1022). This species has broad, slightly roughened leaves that occur in sets of 1-2. These leaves are relatively short without overt patterning, and the plant resembles a S. elliptica without the patterning or roughness. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
