Haworthia coarctata and H. reinwardtii are closely related, and both species are from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The difference between the two species is that H. coarctata tends to have fewer leaves arranged more loosely on its stems. According to Bayer (1999), Haworthia coarctata var. chalwinii has been subsumed into Haworthia coarctata var. coarctata. We still have a few individuals of this once-extant variety available. Our rooted offsets are in 4-inch pots.
